The purpose of Marlborough Community Development Corporation (MCDC) is to strengthen the fabric of the community by providing resources that serve to create and sustain neighborhoods that are diverse safer and vital for those that live and work in them.

We hope to

v Increase and preserve the affordable housing stock in the community

v Increase home ownership through owner occupancy if multi family dwellings.

v Aid in the preservation and revitalization of historic buildings

v Aid in redevelopment and improvement of vacant buildings, lots and blight.

v Create a positive traffic flow to downtown Marlborough as a destination.

v Create a program through which youth can be active participants in their community.

v Explore opportunities to discover more about the various cultures represented in our community and to encourage their participation in community projects and events

v Create a home improvement program

v Explore ways to make “aging in place” a reality for elders residing in our neighborhoods.
